Matthew Pablo is an Audio Director, composer, sound designer, and interactive audio specialist with more than 14 years of experience creating immersive audio experiences across video games, film, live events, and emerging media.
Currently serving as Audio Director at OtherSide Entertainment, Matthew leads audio vision, production, and implementation across studio projects while remaining deeply involved in sound design, music composition, voice-over production, and technical audio development. Most recently, he directed all aspects of audio for Thick As Thieves alongside legendary game designer Warren Spector, helping shape a stealth-action experience where sound serves as a core gameplay mechanic.
Throughout his career, Matthew has contributed to projects and brands including Pokémon, Marvel, Disney, AMC’s The Walking Dead, Bandai Namco, MLB, and deadmau5. His work spans AAA, indie, mobile, live-service, and user-generated content platforms, combining creative leadership with expertise in Unreal Engine, Wwise, interactive audio systems, music production, and audio technology.
A Berklee College of Music graduate, Matthew is recognized for his versatility across orchestral, cinematic, electronic, rock, metal, and hybrid musical styles. Beyond game development, he remains active as a producer, multi-instrumentalist, performer, and mentor, supporting the next generation of game audio professionals while continuing to explore new creative and technical frontiers in interactive entertainment.
